Stanislaus County Employees Retirement Association has committed $20 million to the Vista Foundation Fund IV, according to the foundation’s February 2020 investment agenda. The buyout fund plans to invest in the TMT sector.

In January, StanCERA staff met with Verus Investments to discuss and develop the institution’s work plan for the first half of 2020. StanCERA plans to review the process and set the foundation for strategic asset allocation.

The $2.3 billion pension fund has a 6.0 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 6.30 percent. As illustrated below, StanCERA has made several commitments to five private equity funds over the past 10 years, which have focused on a diversified range of sectors within North America.
