In-house corporate venture capital firms see the US as a highly importantmarket for themover the next 24 months, according to a poll by financial services group Ernst & Young. This is perhaps not surprising, given that 19 of the 37 firms polled were based in the US. What is more surprising is the prominence given to India, a market in which there has been very little corporate venture capital activity reported to date. Apart from India, corporate VCs seem to be sticking to the markets they know best in the medium term: Latin America, Eastern Europe and the rest of Asia appear to play no real part.
