SWIB approves $485m in commitments

The US public pension has backed four private equity funds.

State of Wisconsin Investment Board has confirmed $485.4 million-worth of private equity commitments to four vehicles, according to the pension’s Q1 2020 investment report.

The commitments comprise of $200 million to Clearlake Capital Partners VI, $150 million to Kohlberg Investors IX, $85.4 million to Providence Strategic Growth Europe and $50 million to Vista Credit Opportunities Fund III.

The $113.98 billion US public pension has an 11.10 percent allocation to private equity and debt, which are grouped together as one asset class within the pension’s investment portfolio.
