The Jordan Company raises $2.86bn

The New York-based firm has raised capital for its fifth buyout fund.

Predecessor fund: Resolute Fund IV ($3.63 billion)

The Jordan Company has raised $2.86 billion for Resolute Fund V. Capital raised by the vehicle will be used to invest in companies throughout North America across diversified sectors.

Resolute Fund V received commitments from several institutional investors, including a $2 million commitment from Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, $50 million from Nebraska Investment Council and $100 million from State of Wisconsin Investment Board.
