UMich approves $187m in commitments

The US regents has backed five North America and two multi-regional focused funds.

University of Michigan has announced commitments of $50 million each to Graham Partners V and Advent Global Private Equity IX-C, $15 million to Accel London VI, $22 million to Champlain Capital Partners III, $25 million to OSP Value Fund II-B and $25 million to Andreessen Horowitz Fund VI and Andreessen Horowitz LSV Fund I (how the $25 million was allocated among the two funds was not disclosed).

The $12.10 billion US endowment has a 51.90 percent asset allocation to alternative investments of which 31.60 percent is currently allocated to private equity investments.

As illustrated in the charts below, UMich has made numerous commitments to private equity funds in 2019, which combined constitute $658 million.
