University of Nevada, Reno Foundation plans to issue a request for proposal for a private market consultant in the summer of this year, according to the foundation’s February 2021 meeting minutes. Its current private market consultant is Wilshire Associates.

The foundation aims to conduct interviews with potential private market consultants during early fall of 2021 with a decision to either renew its current consultant’s contract or hire a new firm in January 2022.

The foundation’s investment committee also recently approved a $4 million commitment to MiddleGround Partners II. As illustrated below, the foundation currently allocates 10 percent of its investment portfolio to private equity.
