VCERA approves $15m in commitments

Ventura County Employees Retirement Association announced commitments of $7.5 million each to Drive Capital Fund III and Drive Capital OverDrive Fund I.

The $5.42 million US public pension has a 10 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 4.6 percent.

As illustrated in the charts below, the pension has made two commitments to private real estate funds in the first quarter of 2019, totaling $15 million.
