VCERA approves $25m commitment

Ventura County Employees Retirement Association has announced a commitment of $25 million to Abbott Secondary Opportunities Fund II, a contact at the pension informed Private Equity International.

The $5.90 billion US public pension has a 13.00 percent target allocation to private equity that currently stands at 4.60 percent.

As illustrated below, this is VCERA’s first commitment to a private equity fund in 2020 since committing to five vehicles in 2019.
