Chicago-based online retailer Blitsy collects $1.01 mln in seed funding

Blitsy said Tuesday that it has closed $1.01 million in seed funding. Chicago Ventures was the lead investor. FireStarter Fund, Lakewest Venture Partners, Trunk Club CEO Brian Spaly, Apex Venture Capital general partner Lon Chow, and Klout technical co-founder Binh Tran also participated in the round. Based in Chicago, Blitsy is an online craft retailer.
