Ivantis rallies $46.5 mln in Series B financing
Ivantis said Monday that it has raised an additional $14 million in Series B funding, bringing the total to $46.5 million. The investors in the round included Ascension Ventures, Vertex Ventures, GBS Ventures, EDBI, MemorialCare Innovation Fund, NEA and Delphi Ventures. According to Ivantis, the capital infusion will be used to support the company's ongoing clinical trials. Based in Irvine, Calif., Ivantis is a developer of solutions for glaucoma.
