Wearable tech startup Augmate picks up $2.8 mln

New York City-based wearable tech startup Augmate said Thursday that it has closed $2.8 million in seed funding. Tim Draper led the round with participation from UPS Strategic Enterprise Fund, Siemens Venture Capital, Simon Venture Group, Rothenberg Ventures, Excell Partners, Camp One Ventures, FP Angels and various angel investors.
