MediaPlatform grabs $12 mln

Beverly Hills, California-based MediaPlatform, an enterprise video and webcasting platform for corporate communications, has raised $12 million in funding. TVC Capital led the round with participation from previous backers Barshop Ventures and MediaPlatform CEO Jim McGovern. In addition to the funding, Jeb Spencer and Mykel Sprinkles of TVC Capital have been added to MediaPlatform's board of directors.
