S3 Ventures leads OutboundEngine's $16 mln round

Austin, Texas-based OutboundEngine, which provides a marketing platform for small businesses, has raised a $16 million Series C round of funding led by S3 Ventures. Also participating in the round are existing investors, including Silverton Partners, Noro-Moseley, Harmony Partners, Altos Ventures and Capital Factory. The company has now raised $33.8 million in total funding, including an $11 million Series B round in 2014.
