Reichhold and Polynt to merge

Reichhold, which is backed by Black Diamond Capital Management LLC, is combining with Polynt, which is owned by Investindustrial. Financial terms weren’t announced. The newly formed company, a global specialty chemicals player, will be equally owned by BlackDiamond and Investindustrial. GSO Capital Partners is providing debt financing.
