PE investors exit NXP
NXP Semiconductors NV said July 29 that the company’s private equity investors have cashed out and no longer own any NXP shares. In 2006, the Blackstone Group, TPG Capital, Carlyle Group and Permira Advisers acquired Freescale for $17.6 billion. They sold Freescale to NXP in 2015. The company’s PE investors, which ended up owning about 18 percent of NXP shares, have liquidated their positions, NXP said.
