GTCR-backed Cision names Akeroyd as global CEO

GTCR portfolio company Cision has appointed Kevin Akeroyd as global CEO. Akeroyd is succeeding Peter Granat who will become chairman of the company's board of directors. Previously, Akeroyd worked at Oracle Marketing Cloud where he served as general manager and senior vice president.
