Alliance Growers gains access to $5 mln equity facility
Vancouver cannabis company Alliance Growers Corp has secured access to a $5 million equity facility from an undisclosed U.S. private equity firm. The company will have the option to increase its access to $10 million, the proceeds of which will be used for project development. Founded in 2014, Alliance Growers has formed a partnership to develop and operate a 40,000 square-foot facility to support a DNA botany lab, extraction and tissue-culture plantlet production. The facility is intended to serve the cannabis and agriculture industries.
