Affiliated Managers Group invests in Baring Private Equity Asia

Affiliated Managers Group Inc has acquired an equity interest in Baring Private Equity Asia. Financial terms weren’t announced. Baring Asia’s senior partners will continue to hold a majority of equity and direct the firm’s day-to-day operations. Hong Kong-based Baring Asia is an Asian private equity firm that advises funds with total assets under management of over US$8 billion.
