Prelude Ventures leads Series A round for Powerhive

Berkeley, California and Nairobi, Kenya-based Powerhive, an energy solutions provider for emerging markets, has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Prelude Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Caterpillar Ventures, Total Energy Ventures, Tao Capital Partners and Pi Investments.
