Farmers Edge grabs C$58 mln
Farmers Edge, a provider of precision agriculture and independent data management solutions, has raised C$58 million in funding. The investors were Mitsui & Co. Ltd, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Osmington Inc. In addition to the funding. Kenji Otake of Mitsui & Co has been added to Farmers Edge's board of directors.
