BirdEye nets $8 mln Series A in Trinity Ventures-led round
Sunnyvale, California-based BirdEye, a business reputation and customer experience provider, has secured $8 million in Series A funding. Trinity Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Yahoo co-founder and former CEO Jerry Yang. In addition to the funding, Ajay Chopra of Trinity Ventures has been added to BirdEye's board of directors while Clara Shih, CEO of Hearsay Social, has been named to its advisory board.
