Eight gets $6 mln seed for sleep technology
New York-based Eight, which makes a smart mattress cover to track sleep patters, closed a $6 million seed funding round. Investors in the round include Y Combinator, Yunqui Partners, Azure Capital, Cota Capital, Comcast Ventures, Vast Ventures, Stanford University, Galvanize Ventures, Y Combinator partner and Scribd co-founder Jared Friedman and others. Eight was formerly known as Luna.
