AIP buys GE's Current business

American Industrial Partners has acquired GE's Current business. No financial terms were disclosed. Current will continue using the GE Brand under a licensing agreement. GE Lighting's consumer lighting business was not included in the deal. Current is a provider of intelligent energy management solutions.
