Akiba Raises $6.53 Million
Akiba Technologies Inc., a Boston-based database virtualization startup, has raised $6.53 million in Series A funding, according to a regulatory filing. Backers include Foundation Capital and North Bridge Venture Partners. Steve Vassallo of Foundation and Michael Skok of North Bridge took board seats. The company does not have a website, but said the following about itself in a job ad:
