Alpine Data Labs Seals $7.5M
Alpine Data Labs has raised $7.5 million from Sierra Ventures, Mission Ventures and Sumitomo Corporation Equity Asia. The company, a developer of technology to achieve predictive insights from the massive datasets, will use the money to expand its staff in China and the US, and to bolster development and sales efforts. Alpine Data is based in San Mateo, Calif.
