AOL Buys VC-Backed StudioNow
AOL Inc. (NYSE: AOL) has acquired StudioNow, a Nashville, Tenn.-based provider of online video-creation services. The deal closed last week, and is valued at $36.5 million in cash and stock. StudioNow had raised $4.1 million in VC funding from Clayton Associates and Claritas Capital.
