Apple Tree-backed Syntimmune appoints president and CEO
Waltham, Massachusetts and New York City-based Syntimmune Inc, a biotech company, has named Dr. Jean-Paul Kress as president and CEO. Kress succeeds Dr. David de Graaf who has stepped down from his CEO position and resigned from the company's board of directors. Prior to joining Syntimmune, Kress worked at Biogen Inc where he served as executive vice president and president, international and head of global therapeutic operations. Syntimmune's backers include by Apple Tree Partners, Partners Innovation Fund, FMB Research and AFB Fund.
