Applied Ventures Backs Aventa Technologies

Applied Ventures has invested in a Series A round for Aventa Technologies Inc., a maker of manufacturing equipment for emerging alternative energy markets. Specifics of the investment were not released. Applied Ventures is a subsidiary of Applied Materials Inc.
