Apprenda snags $16 mln in Series C funds

Apprenda said Wednesday that it has closed $16 million in Series C financing. Safeguard Scientifics led the round with participation from return backers Ignition Partners and New Enterprise Associates. Also, Philip D. Moyer, managing director of technology at Safeguard, joins Apprenda’s board of directors. Headquartered in Cliffside Park, NY, Apprenda is a provider of PaaS solutions.
