Ares Private Credit Solutions raises $3.4 bln

Ares Management LP said Dec. 21 that its junior capital direct lending fund closed on $3.4 billion, exceeding its $2.5 billion target. About 60 percent of investors in Ares Private Credit Solutions are new. The pool targets the junior capital needs of upper middle market companies in North America and will invest in companies backed by PE sponsors.
