Arrakis Therapeutics takes in $38 mln Series A
Waltham, Massachusetts-based Arrakis Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company, has closed $38 million in Series A financing. Canaan Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included Advent Life Sciences, Pfizer Inc, Celgene Corp and Osage University Partners. In addition to the funding, Arrakis has appointed Dr. Michael Gilman as chairman and CEO.
