CliQr, a provider of a cloud-based app management platform, has raised $20 million in Series C funding led by Polaris Partners. Foundation Capital, Google Ventures and TransLink Capital also participated in the round. The Santa Clara, Calif.-based company has now raised $38 million in total funding since it was founded four years ago. As part of the round, Gary Swart, formerly CEO of oDesk and current venture partner at Polaris, has joined the board.

IIX announced it has raised $20 million in funding from TriplePoint Capital. Santa Clara, Calif.-based IIX, which provides interconnection solutions, raised $10.4 million in Series A funding from New Enterprise Associates last year.

Institutional Venture Partners announced two new additions to its investment team. Roseanne Wincek joins IVP as a vice president and will focus on investing in later-stage, high-growth consumer and enterprise companies. She previously was a principal at Canaan Partners. Also, Alexander Lim joins IVP as an associate and will focus on identifying and evaluating later-stage enterprise software, Internet and mobile investments. Prior to IVP, Lim worked at Credit Suisse.

3D imaging company Fyusion has raised $13 million in a Series B round led by New Enterprise Associates and The University of Tokyo Edge Capital. Undisclosed angel investors also participated. The San Francisco-based company, which provides the Fyuse app for processing 3D images, last year raised $3.35 million in a Series A round.

San Francisco-based Tapingo today announced it has raised a $22 million round of funding led by Qualcomm Incorporated, through its investment arm Qualcomm Ventures. DCM Ventures, Kinzon Capital and existing investors Khosla Ventures and Carmel Ventures also participated in the round. The company, which provides a mobile shopping platform that's targeted to college students, has now raised $36 million in total funding, including a $10.5 million Series B round last year.
