Prior investors InterWest, Sofinnova Ventures and Thomas, McNerney & Partners all participated in the financing. The company has also appointed Dr. Joel Martin as president and CEO.

Validity Sensors, a Natural ID™ authentication business has secured approval for $20 million in Series E financing. The first closing of $10 million took place on October 4th, 2012 and was led by TeleSoft Partners, along with full participation from existing investors, including Crosslink Capital, Panorama Capital, Qualcomm Ventures and Venture Tech Associates.

Previous textPlus investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Matrix Partners and GRP Partners have also joined in this fourth round of funding for the company.
