Commercial real estate software company View The Space has raised $7 million in funding to expand its footprint and software platform. The round was led by Trinity Ventures. Tom Byrne (former President and COO of Loopnet), Ben Ling (former head of eCommerce at Google), Greg Waldorf (founding investor & Board member at Trulia) and Seed Fund, 500 Startups also participated in the funding.

Rockwood Holdings has entered into a joint venture with Chengdu Tianqi Industry Group giving Rockwood a 49% ownership interest and Tianqi a 51% interest in Talison Lithium Pty. This transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2014, following receipt of regulatory approvals.
