Brookyn-based Etsy Inc, a marketplace where people buy and sell "unique goods," has filed for an IPO. The number of shares to be sold as well as the stock's pricing terms have yet to be set. Etsy plans on listing the stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "ETSY." Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the lead underwriters. Etsy's backers include Index Ventures, Union Square Ventures and Accel Partners.

Previously, she worked at RedPrairie where she served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Aura Biosciences, a biotech company focused on treating rare cancers, has received $21 million in Series B funding. Advent Life Sciences led the round with participation from Chiesi Ventures, Ysios Capital, Alexandria Venture Investments, LI-COR Biosciences and Henri Termeer, former CEO of Genzyme. In conjunction with the funding, Dale Pfost, general partner at Advent Life Sciences, Art Pappas, CEO of A.M. Pappas & Associates and Joël Jean-Mairet, managing partner at Ysios Capital, have been named to Aura’s board of directors. Also, Alan Walts, a current board member and former head of Genzyme Ventures, has been appointed chairman while Alison Lawton will become chief operating officer.
