Airwallex raises $100 mln

Airwallex said March 25 that it raised $100 million in Series C finding led by DST Global. Existing investors Sequoia Capital China, Tencent, Hillhouse Capital, Gobi Partners, Horizons Ventures and Square Peg Capital participated in the round. Airwallex provides cross border payments.

Tradeweb IPO to sell 27.26 mln shares at $24 to $26 each

Tradeweb, which builds and operates electronic marketplaces, set terms for its planned IPO. The New York company said it plans to sell 27.26 million shares at $24 to $26 each, according to an SEC filing. Refinitiv, which is backed by Blackstone and Thomson Reuters, owns 54 percent of Tradeweb before the IPO, while JP Morgan has 5.8 percent.

District Ventures Capital invests in OHi Superfood Bar

District Ventures Capital said March 26 that it invested in OHi Food Co. Financial terms weren’t announced. OHi Food produces the refrigerated OHi Superfood Bar.

Mount Elbert Capital Fund I raises $382 mln

Mount Elbert Capital Partners said March 26 that its first fund closed on $382 million, surpassing its $290 million initial target. Mount Elbert Capital , of Denver, is a real-assets private equity firm that targets deals in internet infrastructure, including data centers, colocation and interconnection assets and operating companies, and related assets. Jefferies LLC served as placement agent.

Muralidhar joins Abingworth

Abingworth said March 26 that Bali Muralidhar joined the firm as a partner based in the London office. Bali was previously a senior partner at MVM Partners LLP in London.

Brunswicker, van Wolfswinkel join Equistone Partners Europe

Equistone Partners Europe said March 26 that it made four appointments to its investment team in Europe. Julia Brunswicker is joining the firm as an investment manager, while Hubert van Wolfswinkel as a director, operating across Germany and the Netherlands. Isabella Boman-Flavell and Caroline Pinton were named investment managers and will join Equistone’s offices in London and Paris, respectively.

Lola.com raises $37 mln

Lola.com said March 26 that it raised $37 million in Series C funding led by led by existing investors General Catalyst and Accel. Also participating were previous investors CRV, Tenaya Capital and GV. Lola.com, of Boston, provides travel management software.

Frontier Capital said March 26 that it invested in Clearwave Corp. Financial terms weren’t announced. Clearwave provides digital check-in, insurance eligibility, and patient payments solutions to health systems and physician practices.

YFM Equity invests in Frescobol Carioca

YFM Equity Partners said March 26 that it invested in Frescobol Carioca. Financial terms weren’t announced. Frescobol is a luxury men’s resort wear and lifestyle brand.
