Hortau said Feb. 27 that it raised $20 million in funding from Export Development Canada ($7 million) and Fonds de solidarité FTQ ($5.9 million). Also participating were existing investors Avrio Ventures LP II, Advantage Capital Agribusiness Partners LP, BDC Capital Inc and Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins. Hortau provides precision irrigation management services for commercial agriculture.

GIC Pte, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, was among investors that helped Coinbase raise $300 million last year, Bloomberg reported. GIC’s involvement in the fundraise wasn’t previously reported, the story said, noting that Tiger Global Management, Wellington Management and Andreessen Horowitz participated in the round.

Altice Europe NV’s Portuguese fiber network is expected to attract the interest of several PE firms including Brookfield Asset Management Inc, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, KKR & Co and Macquarie Group Ltd, Bloomberg reported. Altice Europe is seeking about 5 billion euros ($5.7 billion) for the business, the story said.

GoDaddy Inc said Feb. 25 that KKR and Silver Lake are selling about 8.5 million shares in the company in a secondary offering. GoDaddy itself is offloading about 8,000 shares. KKR is selling 3.36 million shares and appears to be cashing out with the sale, an SEC filing said. Silver Lake owns 5.25 million shares and is offering about 5.16 million. Silver Lake, after the secondary, will have 89,000 shares or 0.1 percent, the filing said.
