Edenred to buy CSI for $600 mln

Edenred agreed to buy Corporate Spending Innovations in a deal valued at around $600 million. CSI, of Naples, Florida, is a North American provider of corporate payment solutions. Rahul Singla of Citi, along with Hogan Lovells and Deloitte advised Edenred. Jamie Hamilton, of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, served as financial adviser to CSI.

Arsenal Capital to sell Elite Comfort Solutions for $1.25 bln

Leggett & Platt said Nov. 7 that it agreed to buy Elite Comfort Solutions Inc for $1.25 billion. Arsenal Capital Partners is the seller. Elite Comfort provides specialized foam technology mainly for the bedding and furniture industries. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC served financial adviser to Leggett & Platt.

Race Winning Brands buys Falicon Crankshafts Components

Race Winning Brands Inc, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries LLC, has acquired Falicon Crankshafts Components Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Falicon, of Clearwater, Florida, makes high performance powersports engine components including crankshafts, connecting rods, camshaft sprockets and racing clutches.

Abry-backed Confie refinances $220 mln loan

Confie said Nov. 5 that it completed the refinancing of a new $220 million loan led by Goldman Sachs and Barclays. Confie also has a $90 million revolving credit facility, which is undrawn and will be used to finance future acquisitions and investments in the company. Confie is a portfolio company of Abry Partners.

Mercer Advisors Inc, a Genstar Capital portfolio company, has acquired Beacon Wealth Management. Financial terms were announced. Beacon Wealth Management is a boutique wealth management firm emphasizing sophisticated financial planning for high net worth individuals.

Palmer promoted to co-managing partner at KPS Capital

KPS Capital Partners LP said Nov. 5 that that Raquel Palmer was promoted to co-managing partner, while Ryan Baker and Kyle Mumford were named partner.

Vector-backed Saba Software buys Lumesse

Saba Software Inc, a portfolio company of Vector Capital, has acquired Lumesse. Financial terms weren’t announced. Lumesse provides talent acquisition, talent management and learning experience technology in Europe.

Providence Equity to exit Vector Solutions

Golden Gate Capital said Nov. 5 that it agreed to buy Vector Solutions. Providence Equity Partners is the seller. Financial terms weren’t announced. Vector, of Tampa, Florida, provides eLearning and SaaS performance support solutions. Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as legal adviser to Golden Gate Capital. Robert W. Baird & Co served as financial adviser to Providence while Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP was legal adviser.

Maven Capital announces promotions

Maven Capital Partners said Nov. 5 that it promoted five senior staff to partnership positions. They include Colin Anderson, Suzanne Lupton, Ewan McKinnon, David Milroy and Andrew Whiteley.
