Vista Equity flagship fund targets $16 bln: Wall Street Journal

Vista Equity Partners has collected $11.4 billion for its latest flagship fund that is seeking to raise $16 billion, the Wall Street Journal reported. Vista held an initial close in September, the story said.

Vector to sell Triton to E.W. Scripps for $150 mln

E.W. Scripps Co said Oct. 17 that it is buying Triton for $150 million. Vector Capital is the seller. Triton, of Sherman Oaks, California, provides software to the digital audio marketplace. Moelis & Company advised Triton.

Treehouse to buy chunk of MedMen real estate

MedMen Enterprises said Oct. 18 that it agreed to sell a chunk of its real estate assets to Treehouse Real Estate Investment Trust for about $12.5 million. The three properties included in the deal are MedMen Abbot Kinney, MedMen Beverly Hills and Men Downtown Las Vegas. Treehouse is backed by New England Development, Samuels & Associates and Visconsi Cos in partnership with Stable Road Capital.

Warburg leads funding round for Capillary Technologies

Capillary Technologies said Oct. 18 that it raised a round of funding led by Warburg Pincus. Financial terms weren’t announced. Capillary, of Shanghai, provides AI-based omnichannel consumer loyalty, engagement and analytics services.

Turning Rock Partners has closed a $15 million loan tied to an unnamed waste remediation company. The deal is Turning Rock’s sixth transaction this year. Todd Bowen of Greenberg Traurig advised Turning Rock.

Capital Dynamics to buy 50 pct of GE's Whiteside Hill Wind Farm

Capital Dynamics agreed to buy a 50 percent stake in Whiteside Hill Wind Farm from GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE Capital. Financial terms weren’t announced. White Hill, of Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, consists of ten GE 2.85 turbines with a total installed capacity of 28.5 Megawatts.

Corviglia Capital Fund launches with $500 mln target

Petr Šmída and Cezary Smorszczewski have launched Corviglia Capital Fund, a fintech growth pool that is seeking $500 million in capital commitments. The fund has secured $250 million in a first close. Šmída co-founded ENERN, an Eastern European/DACH venture capital firm which has invested in 20 tech companies. Smorszczewski co-founded and is the former deputy-CEO of Alior Bank. The fund will make minority investments in financial services and banking.

Monroe Capital finances Vereco sale

Monroe Capital said Oct. 17 that it provided a loan to fund the acquisition of Vereco Inc by an unnamed PE sponsor. Vereco, of Laguna Niguel, California, creates and manages document services programs for hospitals and healthcare systems.

Aakash Chemicals buys Sandream Impact

Aakash Chemicals & Dye-Stuffs Inc, a portfolio company of CenterOak Partners LLC, bought Sandream Impact LLC. Financial terms weren’t announced. Sandream Impact, of Fairfield, New Jersey, supplies colorants and other specialty chemicals to the cosmetic, personal care, and nutritional markets.
