AXA PE to Sell Arkadin to NTT Communications Corp.

NTT Communications Corp. said Monday that it is buying a majority, a maximum of 91.2% stake, in Arkadin. Financial terms weren't announced. Company management is also reinvesting. The seller is AXA Private Equity.Paris-based Arkadin provides audio and data conferencing services.

NXT Capital Forms Direct Originations Team

NXT Capital said Monday that its Corporate Finance Group has formed a Direct Originations Team. Richard Rodgers, who most recently was an MD of the Central Region for GE Capital’s Corporate Lending Group, will lead the team. The Direct Originations Team will focus on sourcing senior secured, stretch, unitranche and 2nd lien cash flow solutions for non-sponsored middle market companies.

Investec Provided Follow-On Financing to 2M Group

Investec Growth & Acquisition Finance said Monday it provided follow-on financing to 2M Group Ltd. 2M owns Surfachem and Banner Chemicals, which recently acquired INEOS ChlorVinyls’ packed chlorine business. Investec Growth & Acquisition Finance is part of Investec Specialist Bank, which provides finance to UK mid-market companies.

Rotunda Sells Worldwide Express

Rotunda Capital Partners has sold its stake in Worldwide Express. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The buyers were a group of investors, including a management team. Dallas-based Worldwide Express is a logistics company that handles package and freight shipments.

Greenbriar Capital Buys Blue Mountain

Greenbriar Capital Corp. has completed its buy of the 80 Megawatt Blue Mountain, Utah Wind Energy Project, USA. Financial terms weren't announced. The deal closed Aug. 2. Blue Mountain is a fully contracted 80 MW wind project that has a 20-year power purchase agreement with PacifiCorp executed on July 3rd, 2013.

Dell Annual Meeting to be Held Oct. 17

Dell said Friday that its annual meeting will be held on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. CT at the Dell Round Rock campus. Stockholders of record as of Sept. 10 will be eligible to vote.

ConforMis Expands Series E Financing to $167.7 Mln

ConforMIS said Friday it has expanded its Series E financing to $167.7 million with participation from top-tier Sovereign Wealth Funds, Government Investment Funds and Private Equity Funds in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It did not name the investors. ConforMIS, in January 2012, said it raised $89 million in a Series E round with principal investors including AGC Equity Partners and Axel Johnson. Bedford, Mass.-based ConforMis medical device company that specializes in patient-specific orthopedic implants.

Dell, Silver Lake Sweeten Takeover Bid by a Dime to $13.75 a share

Dell's special committee said Friday it has entered into a revised merger agreement with Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners that boost the value of their buyout bid by at least $350 million. Dell and Silver Lake have increase the purchase price by another dime to $13.75 and are paying a special dividend of 13 cents a share. The revised agreement also guarantees that the third quarter dividend of 8 cents a share will be paid at or before closing.

PureCars Buys Ronin Solutions

PureCars has acquired Ronin Solutions. Financial terms weren't announced. Ronin provides marketing services to auto dealers. PureCars earlier this year raised $5 million in equity capital from Gemini Investors and Stage 1 Ventures.
