Bain & Company, the global management consultant, has recruited three partners to its UK financial services and private equity practices: Mike Baxter, Stuart Love and Justin Snyder.
Love rejoins the firm in the private equity practice from GEM Consulting in Perth, Australia. He was one of four partners at GEM, which was sold to PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Big Four accountant.
Love specialises in due diligence, performance improvement and post-acquisition optimisation. Prior to GEM, Love worked at Bain & Company for six years, in Sydney, Australia, the UK, Japan and in the New York private equity group. He previously worked at Arthur D. Little, a consultancy, and PwC.
Baxter and Snyder join the financial services team from Marakon, a global consultancy. Baxter has 20 years of consulting experience. Snyder previously worked as an associate director at UBS, the global bank, and Seed Capital Development Fund, a microfinance fund.
Cyrus Jilla, managing partner of Bain’s UK operations, said in a statement: “The expansion of our partner team in London will further increase the breadth and depth of Bain’s ability to deliver results for action-oriented executives.”
