BankSimple Secures $2.9 Million: Report

BankSimple raised $2.9 million from its first investment round, VentureBeat reported. First Round Capital, IA Ventures and Village Ventures participated in the financing. BankSimple has not been launched, but CEO Joshua Reich said the company has interest from 20,000 potential users, VentureBeat reported.
