BearTooth Advisors, the placement agent formed by former fundraisers from Advent International, has hired Maggie Littlefield Sahlman from Advent as a managing director.
“We are pleased to welcome Maggie to the firm and, in some ways, it's more of a rejoining,” Bob Brown, co-founder of BearTooth said. “Given our time working together previously, I know that Maggie will be a valuable addition to our team, and we look forward to working with her again. In addition to augmenting our LP coverage capabilities across the Americas, Maggie's arrival has further bolstered our ability to provide strategic advisory services to general partners.”
Sahlman spent 10 years at Advent International and was responsible for fundraising and investor relations activities in North America and Latin America.
Brown and the firm’s two other co-founders, Andy Lund and Jim McGee, formed BearTooth Advisors in 2014 after having led Advent's global fundraising, investor relations and broader marketing functions.
Prior to joining Advent in 2007, Sahlman worked in the private equity group of Goldman Sachs in New York.
