BTI Systems Adds $15 Million

BTI Systems, an Ottawa-based provider of microWDM networking solutions for the delivery of gigabit services, has raised US$15 million in new VC funding. Export Development Canada led the round, and was joined by return backers like Vengrowth Private Equity Partners, BDC Venture Capital, GrowthWorks Capital, Kodiak Venture Partners, Primaxis Technology Ventures and Lucent Venture Partners. The company had previously raised around $41 million.
