Buzznet Raises $12 Million, Changes Name
Buzznet, a Los Angeles-based community of pop culture websites, has raised $12 million in third-round funding. Focus Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Anthem Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Redpoint Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures. In related news, the company has changed its name to Buzz Media Inc.
