CalPERS appoints pension veteran Frost as CEO

The California Public Employees' Retirement System has hired Marcie Frost as CEO of the pension fund. Previously, Frost worked at the the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems where she served as a director. Her appointment begins October 3, 2016. She will be succeeding Anne Stausboll who retired the end of June. Currently, Doug Hoffner is interim CEO of CalPERS.
