Capitol Energy Ventures Invests in Construction Pipeline Co.
WGL Holdings, through its subsidiary Capitol Energy Ventures Corp., is investing in Constitution Pipeline Co. CEV will invested an estimated $68 million and hold 10% in the pipeline venture. Other investors in the project include Williams Partners L.P., Cabot Oil and Gas Corp. as well as Piedmont Natural Gas. Constitution Pipeline will transport natural gas from the Marcellus region in northern Pennsylvania to major northeastern markets.
