Cardfree Launches with Series A

Mobile merchant platform Cardfree has launched following a $10 million in Series A funding round closed last month. Cardfree is headquartered in San Francisco and is part of a portfolio of companies advised by investor and chairman of the board Jeffrey Katz, who founded payments processor Mercury Payments Systems.
