Carlyle Adds International Energy Team
The Carlyle Group announced Thursday it has added a six-person international energy investment team led by Marcel van Poecke. Other members of the team include Paddy Spink, Operating Executive; Joost Droege, Managing Director; and Joao Saraiva e Silva, Managing Director. Carlyle said the team will focus on oil and gas exploration and production, midstream, oil field services, as well as refining and marketing in Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia.
