Castlelake has raised $1 billion to date for its Castlelake Aviation III. The Minneapolis-headquartered firm has set a $750 million target and began fundraising in 2016.
Its previous fund raised $605 million in 2010.
The fund will target distressed opportunities in transport sectors globally.Â
